CIRAS
The Compact Infrared Atmospheric Sounder (CIRAS) is the airborne platform version of the Cubesat Infrared Atmospheric Sounder.
CIRAS demonstrates key technologies needed for infrared instruments on cubesats and the fidelity of hyperspectral mid-IR radiance measurements to retrieve temperature and water vapor profiles, as well as in its cubesat version, will fill coverage gaps and improve yimeliness of operational IR sounders.
